With the subtle hues and the tangerine skyline….the evening dressed up pretty. She pulled and pushed amongst the heaps of clothing, in search of the perfect dress. With gold on her mind, she was excited…a little nervous, and pretty hallucinated.
She knew that she had worked hard to see this dream coming through and wanted to look the best…
And, then through the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the LBD she was eagerly looking for…
Dressed in black from head to toe, she took her steps like the queen. Above the foyer when she reached for the mike, it still seemed like a dream.
In her acceptance speech, she thanked her teachers and parents who believed in her and encouraged her all the while. She said: ‘The gold is for all empowered girl childs…who are encouraged to dream!
